Hi, I’m Darius Boamah

A portrait & sports photographer based in San Diego. My journey revolves around storytelling. My personal motto, “Light as a language,” guides how I connect with people and convey their stories in vivid, authentic imagery.

Whether it’s capturing the intensity of an athletic play, the intimacy between a couple, the pride of graduation day, or the dynamic energy of an event, my goal is to reflect your truth and personality. With years of experience behind the camera, I bring both technical skill and heartfelt creativity to every shoot .

Beyond traditional sessions, I love flexing my versatility—I've also worked on creative shoots, videography projects, and local collaborations across San Diego. Most recently, my passion project Urban Football launched into a cinematic series, expanding my storytelling into film through coverage of the city’s vibrant street soccer scene
